How we Work

First, thank you for being here!

We are a one-stop local food, online and in person, farm store. 

We own a small farm on the south side of Ottawa and are very passionate about bridging the gap between our food and where it comes from (because it doesn't come from the grocery store!). 

Come connect to local food, local farmers and producers while also keeping your money in our local economy. 

When setting up our online store, we wanted to make it as similar to a farmer's market as we could, so there are a few different ways to shop.  You can shop by vendor - similar to a farmer's market, shop by distance from Dalmeny Acres or shop by product - similar to a grocery store. 

We offer delivery for our online orders on Friday afternoons for $8-$10 depending on distance from our farm.  We deliver up to 30km from Dalmeny Acres. Deliveries will be left on your doorstep and we will ring your door bell or buzzer number.  Orders need to be in by Wednesday at 12pm, noon for Friday delivery.

In store pickup is available for free.  We have two pickup locations for you to choose from, here at the farm at 7280 Dalmeny rd, Osgoode or in Little Italy at Emporio Locale at 70b Beech Street, Ottawa just off of Preston St.

Once your order is ready to go, you will receive an email to book a pickup time and if you're picking up at the farm, your order will be placed in the farm stand, which is halfway down our driveway, for pickup.  If you will be picking up at Emporio Locale, the wonderful store owner Erin will have your order there for you. If none of the pickup times work for you, please send an email to farm@dalmenyacres.ca and we can make arrangements.

Our in-person store is currently closed for the colder weather but will open mid-late spring - stay tuned for more info.
