Herd to Harvest Collective

There’s a saying that goes something like, “Don’t reinvent the wheel.”

We tried not too.

We looked for a program that connected people to their food, the farmers who raised it, the land that supported it, and the herd that fed them.

We couldn’t find one.

So we reinvented the wheel and called it the Herd to Harvest Collective.

Because most people have never met the farmers who produce their food, visited the land it was grown on, or seen what it takes to raise it.

For most of human history, food brought people together. We gathered around it, worked for it, shared it, and understood where it came from.

Today, many of us eat on the go, disconnected not only from our food, but from the people around us.

And while traditional CSA models do a wonderful job of connecting people to a harvest, they often begin at the end of the story.

There is so much that happens before harvest day.

The Herd to Harvest Collective connects you to the entire process that creates the harvest.

You’ll follow the herd through the seasons, receive updates from the farm, join us for events and volunteer opportunities, and gain a firsthand understanding of what it takes to raise grass-fed cattle regeneratively.

Because steak should never be reduced to a Styrofoam tray and plastic wrapping.

We can do better.

So that’s exactly what we’re going to do.
