With Easter in March this year, anyone else feel like it kind of sneaked up on us?
I always find it a bit weird when Easter is so early but with this warm weather so early, maybe it'll feel like spring at the end of March after all.
I've been using this recipe for a few years now and it never disappoints (thanks mom for sending this to me!).
It's super easy and delicious and requires about 5 min of your time to create - you just need a slow cooker.
Ingredients:
- 1 bone in ham (about 4-6 pounds)
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1 can of beer (any kind, whatever you have in your fridge works, a regular size, not a tallboy)
Directions:
- Place the ham in your slow cooker - ideally it is thawed but this can work with a frozen one too (just need longer cooking time).
- Pour the entire can of beer over the ham.
- Pour the cup of maple syrup over the ham.
- Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
And that's it! You'll get delicious fall of the bone ham with very little work.
Super easy and super yummy.
If you try this let me know how you like it.
Have a happy and restful Easter!
