Food Scrap Program Starter Pack

Included in the starter pack:

• a 5 gallon bucket with a lid 
• Infographic with the ins and outs on how the program works 
• Discount code to wave the pickup fee if you're also putting in an order with the farm store

What we don't want in the bucket

• Coffee grounds or whole beans (put them in your garden instead)
• Tea Bags
• Meat and bones
• Cat/dog poop
• Pits

And that's it - everything else, dairy products, citrus fruits, onions etc. can go into the bucket - even if the animals don't eat them, whatever comes from the earth will eventually make it back.

What do you do when your bucket is full and you need a clean one?

Either come and drop it off in our designated area by the farm stand whenever works best for you or book a pickup time for us to come to you and exchange your dirty bucket for a new one.

To get the buckets to you, we will deliver the package on Tuesday after we receive payment and leave it by your front door.  If you would like us to leave it somewhere else or if you would like to come and pickup your bucket at the farm, include a note with your order or send us an email at farm@dalmenyacres.ca and we will get back to you within 48 hours (often much sooner).
